"CPA firms are strategic partners, not competitors. We stay in monthly bookkeeping so you keep advisory, tax, and year-end — and that clear division of work is what makes us safe to refer to."
Our guiding principle with partner firms
Where we help

The bookkeeping work you'd rather not produce in-house.

Six places a virtual bookkeeping partner takes pressure off your team — without ever competing for advisory or tax work.

Clients you'd rather not service in-house

We take on the recurring monthly bookkeeping so your team stays focused on advisory and tax.

Clients too small for your model

Right-sized monthly bookkeeping delivered at our scale, with the same accuracy you'd expect from your own staff.

Ongoing monthly bookkeeping

Our core service — Ledger and Sync — closes the books on a defined cadence with audit-ready support.

Cleanup that converts to monthly

We catch up the file, document the work, and roll the client into a steady monthly engagement.

Year-end & audit-ready support

Seasonal capacity ahead of your year-end cycle. Organized records, tidy schedules, no surprises at hand-off.

QBO setup, migration & workflow

Platinum ProAdvisor expertise to standardize QuickBooks Online across your client base.

Ways we partner

Three engagement models. One discipline behind all of them.

Model

Referral

You refer, we engage the client directly. You stay the trusted advisor.

Client owned by
Exactitude
Best when
You'd rather hand the bookkeeping to a trusted firm than turn the client away.
What we bring
Direct contract, monthly close, audit-ready file, transparent comms.
What stays with you
Tax, advisory, year-end and the long-term client relationship.
Model

Outsourced

We produce the books behind the scenes. You stay client-facing on advisory and tax.

Client owned by
Your firm
Best when
You want to offload production without giving up the client relationship.
What we bring
Defined SLA, monthly QA checklist, named point of contact, your workpaper standards.
What stays with you
All client-facing communication, advisory, and the engagement letter.
Model

White-label

Bookkeeping delivered under your firm's brand. We're invisible to the end client.

Client owned by
Your firm
Best when
You market bookkeeping but don't want to produce it in-house.
What we bring
Branded deliverables, your templates, your cadence, our production team.
What stays with you
The brand, the client, the relationship — entirely yours.
How we protect your reputation

When you refer, your name is on the line. We treat it that way.

Every partnership runs on a written service-level agreement and an internal QA pass before anything reaches you or your client.

  • Monthly close by an agreed-upon date — written into the SLA
  • Named point of contact for every partner firm
  • Internal QA checklist completed before any file leaves us
  • Encrypted document exchange, role-based access, signed NDAs
  • CPB Canada member · QuickBooks Platinum ProAdvisor
  • We stay in bookkeeping — never pitched your client on tax or advisory
Where we serve

Based in Waterloo Region. Serving CPA firms across Ontario.

Virtual-first delivery anywhere in the province, with in-person availability for partners in Kitchener-Waterloo, Cambridge, and the Greater Toronto Area.

How a partnership starts

Low-commitment to start, structured as it scales.

  1. Step 01
    Intro call

A 30-minute conversation about your client mix, capacity gaps, and where bookkeeping is slowing you down.

  2. Step 02
    Pilot engagement

We start with one or two files under a written SLA and a QA checklist, so you can stress-test the workflow with real work.

  3. Step 03
    Standardize & scale

Once the rhythm is proven, we formalize the partnership — referral, outsourced, or white-label — and onboard more files at your pace.

Partner FAQs

Common questions from firms exploring a partnership.

How do you avoid stepping on our advisory and tax work?
We deliver bookkeeping only. No tax filings, no advisory engagements, no year-end opinions. That boundary is written into our partner agreement so your team is never put in an awkward position.
How does pricing and billing work on white-label engagements?
We invoice your firm on agreed monthly fees; you bill the end client however you choose. Referral clients are billed by us directly. We're happy to share rate cards on a partnership call.
How do you handle data security and confidentiality?
Encrypted document exchange, role-based access in QuickBooks Online and your file-sharing tool of choice, signed NDAs, and least-privilege access by default. Partner client data is treated as a precondition, not an afterthought.
Do we have to use a specific software stack?
We're standardized on QuickBooks Online with Dext, Hubdoc, and Fathom — but we adapt to your firm's templates, chart of accounts, and workpaper conventions on outsourced and white-label work.
How are referrals credited?
We track every introduction by partner firm and report back on conversion. We don't pay per-referral commissions — we keep our pricing honest for the end client and reciprocate referrals back to you wherever we can.
